Terms of service.

  • 1. Jodie's responsibilities. Jodie Clyne Celebrant ("Celebrant") hereby agrees to perform Celebrant services for Client at the Event specified in a professional manner with a ceremony written in conjunction with the couple. The Celebrant is not responsible for the impact on the final product of any interference caused by guests or other vendors at the Event.

If Celebrant is exposed to (i) unsafe conditions, or (ii) objectionable or illegal acts at the Event, The Celebrant reserves the right to take reasonable action to remedy such a situation, including but not limited to leaving the Event. In such event, the Celebrant shall not be obligated to refund any of the fees paid by Client because of such action.

  • 2. Deposit/Payment. A non-refundable deposit (that shall be applied toward the total fee for the Services and will be set out in the Payment Schedule) is due 7 days following submission of the Client Intake Form, at which time Celebrant commits to being available to Client on that date (subject to non-payment, reasonable emergencies and force majeure events, see Section 8). Remaining payments of the balance due for the Services shall be made as set out in the Payment Schedule. In the event that Client fails to remit payment as specified, the Celebrant shall have the right to immediately terminate this Agreement with no further obligation to refund money (including the aforementioned retainer). The Celebrant will accommodate date and day changes if that date is not already booked without any financial implication to the client.

  • 3. Term. The term of this Agreement shall commence upon the execution of this Agreement, and shall terminate upon delivery of the Marriage certificate.

  • 4. Event Changes. Celebrant must be notified immediately of any changes in schedule or location.

  • 5. Cancellation. Upon acceptance of these terms and payment of the deposit the Celebrant shall commit to attending the Event on the specified date, and shall make no other reservations for that date unless discussed and agreed to with the Client. If Client cancels the Event entirely, then the Celebrant shall not be required to repay the deposit to the Client.

  • 6. Delivery Date. The marriage will be lodged within 14 days of the ceremony date and mailed to the Client's specified address.

  • 7. Timings. The Client will be on time to the event (within reason 30 mins fashionably late is ok) unless obstructed by weather or an issue out of the client's control.

  • 8. Force Majeure. If the Celebrant is unable to attend Event due to fire, flood, casualty, strike, civil disturbance, war, terrorism, Celebrant's sickness, or other acts of God beyond the parties’ control, then Celebrant shall return all money paid by Client (including deposit), and this Agreement shall immediately terminate. The Celebrant will endeavor to find a replacement Celebrant if required.

  • 9. Promotion. I/we hereby give permission for the Celebrant to use my/our name/s and photographic likeness in all forms and media for advertising, trade, promotional and any other lawful purposes such as promotion and marketing. Including Facebook and Instagram after the Client has said it is appropriate to do so.
